Googled images of Fantomas and ended up here. I just lost much of this afternoon mesmerized by all of the arcane imagery on the Spanish and Italian comics. I'm fascinated by the utterly guileless approach to horror, crime and other genre staples. It's so energetic and so lurid; I feel like we've missed out on so much over the decades. Thanks for exhuming all of this; it will surely haunt my dreams and influence my art.
